postpartum Doula services
Comprehensive support for new parents during the first few weeks following childbirth, helping with recovery, home support, nutrition, and postnatal recovery.
Postpartum Doula Support is rooted in supporting families in the initial stage of life for new baby, and significantly reduces stress, home maintenance burden, and recovery time following childbirth.
As a doula, support is provided to all members of the family, including: newborn, primary parent, co-parent, and sibling(s), helping with organization and maintaining schedule, incorporating your new family member, maintaining and promoting communication, and reducing workload on family members so they can focus on spending time together. Doulas prioritize education for new parents and work towards promoting self determination over time, meaning setting parents up for success to continue routines and good habits once doula support is complete.
